Kings Wood Symphony

What an amazing Sunday! Liz took me t o see the Kings Wood Symphony in Kings Wood near Ashford. It turned out they needed another volunteer, so I got to be the personal assistant of Matthew King, the composer and conductor - and an extraordinarily nice person.
Groups of horn players, percussionists and sound engineers placed throughout the woods created a spectacular sound. For me, this music and the green wood made a perfect combination. What a fantastic idea.

What a fantastic idea indeed! It looks like such a beautiful day too - and with the instruments like great big shiny flowers in the foliage!

Best Idea EVER!
I love your idea of the horns being flowers! It makes it even more obvious, how well they fitted into their environment that day! They were perfect!
