Ich liebe Dich

These gingerbread hearts should be part of every good Christmas market. In fact, I would argue, they are as important as mulled wine. For non-drinkers, anyway.
Taking this picture, I was aksing myself, would I be happily surprised and romantically touched by a heart like this, or would I think it childish and un-creative? I mean, we all know, a hand-made one would be infinitely more exciting and sweet, but then, that is not as spontaneous maybe.
I would like to put this up to debate. Are plastic-wrapped retro gingerbread hearts in or out? How do hand-made little cookies compare? I am anxiously awaiting your opinion!
