1673 and 2001

There is nothing that beats a good stroll through London, even on a grey day. This picture shows St. Paul's Cathedral photographed from the south bank side of the Millennium Bridge. 328 years lie between the two and I think the bridge spans them gracefully. I think I might go back tonight, Britten's Ceremony of Carols is on at St. Paul's: a welcome half hour of Advent, away from shopping bags and the everlasting hullabaloo of Jingle Bells, Rudolph and Winter Wonderland.
